Hello, everyone, welcome to Brush of Magic. I’m Ronn Stern. Thank you for joining us as we learn to paint the archetype for bounty hunters in the Star Wars universe, Boba Fett; time lapsed into a 60-second video.
Boba Fett’s helmet and armor, initially designed by artists Joe Johnston and Ralph McQuarrie, has a specific color pattern. It was important to nail down the color of the iconic green of Boba Fett’s armor, which is not quite military olive drab, but it’s not far off. This allowed for the selection of a color scheme that would add depth and excitement to what, honestly, could be an otherwise boring color. Deciding on a color scheme is a vital part of any painting and should be one of the first considerations.
